The Planet Treasure Guardians
series took off with the release of her first book
Battle for the Savant Sceptre in March
2005. With the addition of the second book Hunt for
the Emberteller the new fast-paced series quickly gained popularity
and has become a favourite among young readers, who were lining up at Christmas
time in 2008 to get their hands on the third book,
Secret of the Stolen Scripts. With the discontinuation of the Harry
Potter series, children have found the next exciting magical tale to capture
their imaginations again.
S.V.Bodle is an enthusiastic storyteller, inspiring
imagination in all of us and actively seeks feedback
from readers. She has visited many schools around
New Zealand taking writing workshops with great
success at getting students to discover their own
talent for inventing a unique story.
Workshops are fun and interactive with lots of
encouragement.
