The author has done it again. The second book in the series “Hunt for the Emberteller”
continues with the four guardians facing one dangerous situation after another in a fast
moving, action packed, thrilling tale that will keep you on the edge of your seat the whole
way through.
Kids will love this book and if they have read the first one then they will not be disappointed
as they continue to charge through the chapters at an incredibly fast pace with Ladek,
Robbie, Skyla and Ashleigh.
There are so many great scenes in this book which makes it a difficult task to pick just
one as a favorite, however, I enjoyed the excitement of the multi-levelled power struggle
which takes place on Kystarz. Ladek is seriously hurt and Robbie has to come into his
own, searching for his inner strength to enable him to rescue his friend from the hands
of the Tanyaksa. This is no easy task as the guardians are under attack from all sides.
I love Ashleigh’s inventiveness and her sense of creativity as she uses her newly found
powers to assist her friends and amidst all this mayhem she shows an ironic sense of
humour and love for her friends which shines through.
The author gives the reader a real sense of being right there, fighting alongside the
guardians, feeling every emotion with them. This is a “must read” book and I would love
to see all children (and their parents) read and enjoy this book.
It should not remain a secret

My son Callan still rates "Battle for the Savant Sceptre" as the best book he's ever
read, and since reading it two years ago he's devoured just about every book he can
get his hands on! S.V.Bodle signed his first book and I know he'd be rapt if she could
sign the second book in the series for him also. Thanks Sharlene for turning my son
into the 10-year-old avid reader he's become!

I thought the book was fantastic, it was exciting and the fun carried on through the
whole story. Good luck on writing your next issue.

I think that your book was great and I am dying to read the next book in your series.
I love how you set it out and the twist is so good that I didn't want to put the book down.
Thankyou for the greatest book and I can't wait to read more of your books. Thanks a lot.
